MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- In a shocking development, Dimpy Mahajan the Kolkata based model who tied the knot with Rahul Mahajan earlier this year left her husband after being physically abused by him. They got married after appearing in marriage reality show on NDTV Imagine named ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’. She left the Worli Residence of Rahul Mahajan after he allegedly beat her up. The shameful incident took place on Thursday. A per the reports her husband tried to see a message which his wife got on her mobile. Since the mobile was locked he could not see it and asked her to open it. However she refused saying she was too sleepy.

Dimpy Mahajan said that when she asked her husband to let her sleep he unexpectedly turned violent and started beating her up. She was panicked and called up her father who came at the residence and took her with him. However, Rahul Mahajan is not agreeing with the version of his wife. He said no such things happened and he had dinner with the father of his wife. A person who did not wish to be named said that the tussle between the couple started after the marriage but it reached the peak recently.

Dimpy Mahajan later said that Rahul Mahajan has a temperament problem and gets aggressive and physically abusive at the drop of a hat. Over trivial issues he got angry with her since they got married. The rumor of Rahul Mahajan cozying up to his former girlfriend Payal Rohtagi - a starlet also created a rift between the couple.
