Is Suriyas Raktha Charithram Postponed For Diwali?

July 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Suriya’s stupendous success with Singam has gained him more popularity across the towns. Moreover, his overpowering appearance in the teasers of Raktha Charithra have drew the attention of even Bollywood buffs as they curiously await his arrival in B-town. Recently, Bollywood’s shehanshah Amitabh Bachchan was spellbound by Suriya’s performance in this film as Ram Gopal Varma screened some clippings from the film.
Earlier, the plans were to release the Raktha Charithra along with the second part of Raktha Charithra in Hindi and Tamil, which was supposedly scheduled during last week of August. But the release date of Raktha Charithra – 1 is reported to have been postponed to September 17.
Since, the RC-1 will not have Suriya being featured with prominence, the producers decided to release the Tamil version as a single part.
But now it looks like the release of second part maybe deferred by at least three weeks after the prequel hit screens. Obviously, the makers may opt for Diwali (November 5) as the best time as it would draw more audiences.
