Alexa Ray Joel Promoting Her New Single “Notice Me” in Howard Stern Show

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - The talented daughter of music icon Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel appeared on the Howard Stern Show on 15th July 2010. She stopped by the Howard Stern Show on 15th July at 7:00 am to discuss her new single Notice Me. The 23-year-old singer promoted her new single Notice Me from her upcoming album All I Can Do. The interview on 15 July is the first time since 2009 when Alexa has made any sort of media appearance, the last time being The Wendy Williams Show.

The song title is an indication of past struggles of Alexa, which has been faced by her with over the past year. On December 5, 2009, a heartbroken Joel was rushed to the hospital after overdosing on aspirin. While Alexa denied that the incident was not a suicide attempt, many still believe otherwise.

I wasn’t thinking clearly at all. When you’re in that much pain you’ll just do whatever you can to get it to go away.

She said, referring to the pain she felt after her breakup with her boyfriend. But now, 7 months later, Alexa Ray Joel insists she is in a better condition. Her interview with Howard Stern on 15th July revealed whether Alexa has recovered from her heartbreak.

Alexa Ray Joel was born in Manhattan; New York on 29 December, 1985. She is a singer and lyricist. Her parents nurtured her musical talent. Her latest single has already had good reviews. Along with this, Alexa has formed a new relationship with Cass Dillion, a singer and song writer and presently her guitarist. This year it may be more successful than the last for Alexa Ray Joel.
