Dannii Minogue gives birth to boy

MELBOURNE - Australian singer Dannii Minogue has become the proud mother of a baby boy.

Minogue gave birth to her first child with partner Kris Smith Monday in Melbourne, reports heraldsun.com.au.

Her sister Kylie is heading home this month to meet her new nephew.

Dannii had admitted last year she had not thought about starting a family until meeting her British boyfriend, a former rugby player.

“I was always like, I’m not going to have kids, but now I say to Kris (Smith), ‘What if I really start enjoying this and want to have more’?” Minogue told a magazine in April.
