LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Shutter Island is on the hot search today. Cine lovers who couldn’t arrange time to watch the movie in theaters are curious about the movie. The unexpected ending of the movie is one thing everybody talking about.

Shutter Island that hit theaters in February is still running successfully. The movie is the fourth film of Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese working together.

Shutter Island is a psychological thriller that demands many twists in due course. If you love watching this type of movie, you will surely love it.

The story of the movie is of Teddy Deniels, a U.S. Marshal. He is to find a missing criminal in the Shutter Island. Shutter Island can only be reached by transportation of a ferry, as the island is home to Ashecliff Hospital, a psychological facility for the criminally insane. A lot of mystery surrounds, some of which has straight forward hints for the viewers.

But the end is the most exciting part of Shutter Island. It is full of twist. The viewers get altogether a different ending that they can hardly imagine. Leonardo presents flawless execution of his character. He decided to be lobotomized since he prefers to die as a good man rather than living as a monster.

Has anyone thought that there could be a “Primal Fear” thing going on in Shutter Island. Leos’ character is portrayed as a violent person to begin with. Nobody else would have had the opportunity to question the “insane” wife. How do we know that Leo didn’t do it all, create a sense of insanity, and play the correctional system into not giving him a death penalty and instead be treated as a “patient” not a “prisoner”?!! When he realized he had convinced everyone he was “insane” he was ready to die being remembered as a “good guy” who went nuts rather than a homicidal maniac. Just a thought!!
