LONDON - Australian singer Peter Andre’s aftershave launch was a flop show as just nine fans turned up for the event.

The “Mysterious Girl” singer launched new man’s fragrance Conditional, which is a follow up to woman’s scent Unconditional, reports dailystar.com.

Fans who turned up for the launch thinks that Andre’s split with singer Katy Price has affected his fan following and popularity.

“I think the thing (split) with Jordan (Katy Price) has affected his popularity a lot,” said a fan who came for the event.

However, the security guards at the Westfield shopping centre in London’s Shepherd’s Bush were expecting a crowd of hundreds of fans, but when the event started only nine people showed up.

Talking about his new scent Andre said that females would like to gift it to their partners.

“I think its more likely that girls will buy it for their partners. Our survey showed that men hardly ever buy aftershave,” he said.

“Unconditional sold at the rate of a bottle every 45 seconds,” he added.

Andre’s new product was billed as having top notes of lime, bergamot and mint laced with notes of jasmine, cardamom and nutmeg offering a truly versatile smell.
