Get a glimpse of Gurinder Chadha’s new film April 1

NEW DELHI - Britain-based Indian filmmaker Gurinder Chadha is all set to unveil, the first look, her new English film “It’s A Wonderful Afterlife” April 1.

Two weeks later, April 15, fans will get a sneak peak of the dubbed Hindi version which is titled “Hai Marjaawan”. Both vesions are slated to release in India May 7.

Starring veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi in a pivotal role, “It’s A Wonderful Afterlife” is romantic comedy and tells the story of a mother who goes to extreme lengths to get her daughter married.

It also stars Goldy Notay, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Sally Hawkins and Jimi Mistry.

“I think ‘It’s A Wonderful Afterlife’ is my best work to date,” Chadha had told IANS in an interview.

Chadha had dubbed her 2004 “Bride & Prejudice” in Hindi and titled it “Balle Balle Amritsar To LA”.
