Depp Enjoys ‘doing Nothing’ At French Home

JOHNNY DEPP is so content living in the South of France, he can go for “three months at a time” without leaving the property.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star leads a peaceful home life in Europe with his partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, seven.
Depp admits he rarely leaves the family home when he’s not working - because he enjoys doing “absolutely nothing”.
He tells People.com, “With Vanessa and the kids, we live in a sort of little village in the south and I have the impression of being in paradise. It’s a property of about 30 acres and you know what I do there? Absolutely nothing.
“There are times when I don’t leave the property for three months at a time.”
Instead, Depp spends his time nurturing the flowers and home-grown vegetables in his beloved garden.
He says, “(My lifestyle is a) truly simple existence, (like) being on another planet. When I wake up I go look at my garden. I go see if my vegetables are growing, if certain flowers have started to bloom.”
