Joe Simpson To Produce Teen Sitcom

JESSICA and ASHLEE SIMPSON’s dad JOE is creating a sitcom based on his own experience of raising two daughters in Texas.
Simpson, who manages his pop star offspring, has signed a deal with Nickelodeon to serve as executive producer on the as-yet-untitled series inspired by his own life.
The series will centre around one of the daughters who emulates her counsellor dad by doling out advice to her classmates.
Joe Simpson worked as a minister and psychologist before helping his daughters navigate their careers.
