Russell Crowe’s wife to croon again
By ANITuesday, January 5, 2010
MELBOURNE - Russell Crowe’s wife Danielle Spencer is set to revive her music career.
Spencer, 39, debuted in 2001 with White Monkey and now she is almost ready to launch her second record Calling All Magicians, reports the Herald Sun.
Spencer had taken a break from music in 2003 when she decided to stay at home and care for sons Charles and Tennyson.
Her upcoming album is expected to carry a new touch since legendary record producer Tony Visconti has worker on it.
Spencer’s new track Wish I’d Been There received mixed reviews when it was released in October last year.
While some critics called her a “gifted songwriter and pianist”, one dubbed her as “a very average, mediocre singer-songwriter . . . unfortunately rather bland and unmemorable”.
Calling All Magicians is slated for to release in the UK on February 15. (ANI)
