Spielberg Lands New Film Honour

Hollywood director STEVEN SPIELBERG has picked up another accolade to add to his impressive collection - he’s landed The Motion Picture Sound Editors’ (MPSE) 2010 Filmmaker Award.
The E.T. director will be honoured at MPSE’s Golden Reel awards ceremony on 20 February (09) in Los Angeles, for the groundbreaking soundtracks incorporated in his projects.
MPSE President Bobbi Banks says, “Steven Spielberg’s evolution of the sound experience and collaboration with the sound and music editors has helped to shape new dimensions in sound.”
