WASHINGTON - Sean Penn is drawing plans to film part of his next movie in Venezuela.

The actor met with the country’s President Hugo Chavez at the presidential palace in the capital Caracas and discussed his plans with the controversial leader.

“(He) told me was very interested in a film project… that would most likely be shot in part in Venezuela,” Contactmusic quoted Chavez as saying on state television.

The film will reportedly have its foundation on Cuban author Alejo Carpentier’s 1953 novel The Lost Steps. (ANI)
