LONDON - Hollywood actress Uma Thurman is excited about the return of the “Kill Bill” franchise, saying the snippets of the plot for the third instalment that she’s heard are “awesome”.
Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino thrilled fans by recently announcing he is working on a third instalment of the martial arts marathon, set to hit cinemas in 2014. The actress reveals Tarantino has allowed his muse first access to the unfinished plot line and that she can’t wait to get back into character, reports express.co.uk.
“We did chat. He has not yet finished the script. I don’t even really know if he’s really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good. He has started to share with me what he was thinking, and it’s awesome,” she said.
The proposed “Kill Bill: Vol. 3″ will be set 10 years after the last instalment to allow Thurman’s character to “have a break” from her revenge mission.
The first two films proved hugely successful, providing Thurman with her most iconic role yet as The Bride - a killer assassin out for revenge - and pulled in $332 million worldwide.
