Warner Music Group names Cavallo to newly created role of chief creative officer

Warner Music Group appoints Cavallo to new post

NEW YORK — Warner Music Group Corp. said Tuesday that it named music producer Rob Cavallo to the newly created role of chief creative officer.

The Grammy-winning Cavallo, who has worked with artists including Green Day and Paramore, will serve as a producer as well as an A&R executive.

Shares of Warner Music were flat at $5.68 in afternoon trading.
