Uma Thurman contemplating move to Hollywood

WASHINGTON - American actress Uma Thurman has revealed that she is contemplating a move to Hollywood for the sake of her career.

Thurman, 39, has only taken on projects filmed in New York since the birth of her two children, daughter Maya in 1998 and son Levon in 2002 with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, so she could be close to them.

But now that they are older, Thurman is determined to raise her profile as an actress, and is considering relocating to the West Coast.

“I am a mother, but I need to do what I’m good at doing. Even your kids need you to be who you are,” Contactmusic quoted her as having told W magazine.

“I’ve been living at home for a long time. If I don’t leave soon, I’m going to literally choke my career to death,” she added. (ANI)
