WASHINGTON - Madonna has reportedly decided to reconcile with her estranged brother, Christopher Ciconne.

The Queen of Pop’s relationship with her sibling had fallen apart after he wrote a tell-all book about their relationship, entitled ‘Life With My Sister Madonna’, last year.

The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker apparently wants to end the feud for the sake of her family, and has sent him tentative emails to start speaking.

“Madonna did it more for her family than for herself. Her feud with Chris was creating huge tension within the family so she decided to be the bigger person,” Contactmusic quoted a source as having told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper.

The insider added: “At one point Madonna wanted all the family to cut off Chris - but her father wasn’t willing. It’s been a nightmare ever since. She’s calmed down about the book and had time to think. She realises blood is thicker than water and has said she will meet with him this year in LA.”

Christopher had written in his book: “The Madonna I once knew is lost to me for ever, I am sorry for her and us.”

He even claims that his sister’s then husband/director Guy Ritchie once tried to intimidate him by driving dangerously close to him.

He also alleges that the Guy’s friends made homophobic remarks to him at the helmer’s stag party.

It is believed that Madonna’s divorce with Guy last year helped her become more sensitive towards her brother. (ANI)
