Vanessa Hudgens’ lucky acting break

WASHINGTON - ‘High School Musical’ star Vanessa Hudgens got her lucky break as a child star, after standing in for a friend at a commercial audition.

The 20-year-old actress admits that she might have never found fame had she not heeded the advice of an acting pal, who couldn’t attend a casting and sent her instead.

“My girlfriend was doing a bunch of commercials and she couldn’t go to one. She was like, ‘You want to go?’ And I was like, ‘Sure’,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling the New York Daily News.

“It was a Travelodge PSA (Public Service Announcement), so it was random dancing around with a little Travelodge Bear,” she added. (ANI)
