SIRIUS XM Radio to offer $250 million in notes

NEW YORK — Sirius XM Radio said on Wednesday it would offer $250 million in senior secured notes due in 2015.

The satellite radio company said it would use the money to repay debt from Liberty Media Corp. Sirius XM borrowed $530 million from Liberty Media in February to stave off a bankruptcy filing. Last week Sirius XM reported a $157.4 million quarterly loss.
