Russell Crowe shoots down pub ban reports

WASHINGTON - Russell Crowe has lashed out at reports claiming he was recently banned from his local England pub.
The actor, who is presently filming “Robin Hood” in Windlesham, Surrey in south-east England, was reported to have faced the ban over his alleged rowdy behaviour after the local tavern keeper told him it was closing time.
But Crowe’s manager Grant Vandenberg has dismissed the allegations, saying the star is baffled by the reports since he only ever visits the pub with his young sons, Charlie, five, and Tennyson, three.
“The only truth to the whole thing is that he has been (to the pub),” Contactmusic quoted Vandenberg as saying.
“He has been there four or five times with his kids. There is a playground in the back,” Vandenberg added. (ANI)
