Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tied The Knot

This almost seems to be rip off from a fairytale plot where the prince (read Channing Tatum) and the princess (Jenna Dewan) meets, falls in love (as if by fate) and settle in to blissful matrimony happily. In a fairy tale set up wedding in Malibu, California, held on Saturday, July 11, the two love birds pledged their wedding vows. The news of the wedding has been confirmed to the PEOPLE magazine by the representative for the celebrity couple. The two had met on the set of their 2006 movie “Step Up”; they got engaged last year in the month of September.

The 29 year old Tatum and the 28 year old Dewan had the ceremony at a private estate which overlooked the wide expanse of the ocean. Among 220 guests who had attended the glitzy ceremony, there were Marlon Wayans, the maid of honor Emmanuelle Chriqui and bridesmaid Haylie Duff, accompanied by her actor boyfriend Nick Zano.
The groom donned a Giorgio Armani attire and the bride was resplendent in her gorgeous Reem Acra wedding gown. The stars exchanged their vows as the Neil Lane wedding band played beneath pepper trees filled with white and blush floral arrangements.

The couple’s love for fairy tales and fairies were highlighted in the event organized by event planner Mindy Weiss, as they chose to pay a tribute to their fantasy. Two flower girls adorned with a pair of wings were made to walk down the aisle.

The couple danced their first dance to the song “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele. The wedding cake by Cake Divas was in the shape of a castle filled with fairies in several flavors.
