Javier Bardem to star in Elizabeth Gilbert’s biopic with Julia Roberts

WASHINGTON - Javier Bardem is in talks to star alongside Julia Roberts in Ryan Murphy-directed adaptation of the Elizabeth Gilbert memoir-’Eat, Pray, Love’.
The Columbia Pictures project also stars Richard Jenkins as part of the cast, reports Variety magazine.
In the film, Roberts plays the author, and Bardem Felipe-the man Gilbert meets and falls in love with on the final leg of a journey of self-discovery that began with the end of her marriage.
Jenkins would play a Texan whom the heroine befriends at an Indian ashram.
Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner are producing the film through Plan B. (ANI)
