Winehouse ‘lands in hospital after another booze bender’

LONDON - Amy Winehouse was reportedly hospitalised for the third time in three months following another booze bender in the Caribbean.

The pop star was allegedly rushed in an ambulance after falling ill at her St Lucia villa and was discharged the same night.

But friends of the Rehab hitmaker fear, she may not be up for her UK comeback concert, which is slated for May 31 in her native London.

“Amy’s gig might as well be cancelled now. She’s not going to make it. It’s not worth her while even if she does make it, it will be a shambles,” the Sun quoted a pal as saying.

Grammy-winner Amy, who has been fighting her heroin and crack cocaine addiction, ended up in hospital last month after fainting in her holiday villa.

The 25-year-old’s spokesman had said the singer collapsed due to “dehydration”. (ANI)
