LONDON - Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle told talk show queen Oprah Winfrey that winning fans all over the world with her stunning audition was “like a dream come true” for her.
The 48-year-old had amazed all, including US President Barack Obama, with her jaw-dropping performance of the Les Miserables song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on the talent show.
And the church volunteer from Scotland continues living a dream with her first appearance on Oprah along with BGT judge Simon Cowell, who spoke of his shock after listening to the singing sensation.
“This lady came up, and I’m thinking; ‘This will take five seconds and I can go have a cup of tea’,” the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
“That changed when she began to sing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.
“She knew we were going to have that reaction and just to see that look of satisfaction on her face midway through - it was one of my favourite moments,” he added.
Susan may soon become the world’s biggest internet star, since the overnight celebrity’s debut performance has already gathered 186million hits on You Tube, making it the fifth most watched video. (ANI)
