Jessica Simpson: I haven’t spoken to Nick Lachey in years

WASHINGTON - Jessica Simpson in an exclusive interview has shed light on her ex-husband Nick Lachey.
While in Vanity Fair’s June issue, the 28-year-old opened up about where she’s been, where she is, and where she wants to go, reports Fox News.
Talking about Lachey, she said: “I have not spoken to him in years.”
She added that her current boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, had watched a couple episodes of hers and Lachey’s reality show The Newlyweds, and said: “He thought I was cute.”
Of her early years, when it was Simpson, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera vying to be the top pop star, Simpson says, “I wasn’t dancing and doing that whole thing. I wanted to set myself apart. But I was always third runner-up.” (ANI)
