WASHINGTON - James Franco reportedly skipped his own Oscar bash after a lacklustre performance as host.

The actor, who was slammed for his awards show hosting skills, missed out his own Academy Awards after-party at LA’s Supper Club.

The ‘127 Hours’ star - who received a critical drubbing for his performance alongside Anne Hathaway - had planned to throw an exclusive party at the Supper Club after the ceremony but instead left Los Angeles straight away.
source revealed while some stars - including Seth Rogen, Kevin Spacey and actors from TV show ‘90210′ were all in attendance the party was a “bust”.

However Franco, 32, - who is studying at both Yale and New York Universities - took to his Twitter account to explain his absence, claiming he had to return to classes.

“Goodbye L.A.. It was fun! Time to head back to class,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. (ANI)
