Keira Knightley splurges on high-end fashion only if her mum allows

LONDON - Hollywood actress Keira Knightley might have tens of millions of pounds piled up in the bank, but only splurges on high-end fashion if her mum says it’s OK.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star reveals how she only bought the most expensive item in her wardrobe - a 2,795-pound sheepskin coat from Burberry - after getting the green light from her mother.
“My mum was like, ‘You cannot spend that amount of money on a coat’, and I was like ‘No, you’re right I can’t, I can’t',” the Telegraph quoted her as saying in the March issue of Elle.
“And then literally it was months, months of thinking about it and thinking ‘I’m not going to do it, I’m not going to do it.’ But then she said ‘Right, if you’re going to buy it, you have to wear it all the time’.
“I wore it everyday last year and I’m going to wear it every day this year,” the actress said.
She also admits that she’s not the most inspired everyday dresser.
“I’m just not very good at thinking about what to wear first thing in the morning. I just think, It’s cold, I want a jumper on,” she added. (ANI)
