New York, Jan 24 (ANI): Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was discharged from a Los Angeles hospital on Saturday; a week after her right leg was amputated.
Gabor, who turns 94 next month, returned to her Bel Air, California, mansion, where she lives with husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt.
“She talks to me and she smiles a little bit,” The New York Daily News quoted Von Anhalt as telling a foreign new agency.
The star of 1950s films ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘Lili’ suffered a gangrene infection in her lower limb, prompting last week’s amputation.
Gabor, 93, still doesn’t know that her limb was removed, according to her husband.
“I told them (doctors) not to talk to her, because I didn’t want her to get hysterical and the blood pressure go up,” he said. (ANI)
