LONDON - Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez says she allowed her twins Max and Emme appear in a Gucci children’s wear campaign because the money was going to charity.
The singer-and-actress, married to singer Marc Anthony, too features alongside her kids, who will turn three in February, in the Italian fashion house’s campaign.
“Frida Giannini from Gucci said she was going to launch the Gucci’s kids line, and they were going to do it in conjunction with a big donation, and they were going to do it with Unicef, and would we do it, femalefirst.co.uk quoted Lopez as saying.
“Marc didn’t really want to put the babies in an ad or anything like that. And I was just like, if they do it, I’d want to do it with my kids because it is for the kids. That’s the connection. That’s what makes it real. We don’t really parade them around like that, so it was for a good cause,” she added.
The 41-year-old has previously said it was a joy working with Max and Emme on the campaign as it was a “special experience”.
“It’s the first time I have worked with my kids in that way. It was a totally special experience. I did a photo shoot when they were three weeks old, but now that they are two-and-a-half, it’s totally different!”
