‘Inception’ and ‘The Social Network’ dominate Critics Choice Awards

WASHINGTON - Mind-bending drama ‘Inception’ and ‘The Social Network’ dominated the Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Friday.
‘The Social Network’ bagged awards for Best Film, Best Director (David Fincher), Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin) and Best Score (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross), while ‘Inception’ won six prizes, including Best Action Film, Best Visual Effects and Best Sound, reports Contactmusic.
Oscar favourites Natalie Portman and Colin Firth were honored with acting awards for their roles in ‘Black Swan’ and ‘The King’s Speech’, respectively.
Christian Bale and Melissa Leo claimed the Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards for their roles in ‘The Fighter’.
The boxing movie also landed the Best Acting Ensemble accolade.
