Bollywood wishes fans on Makar Sankranti

NEW DELHI - Be it Holi, Diwali or Makar Sankranti - the film fraterntiy makes it a point to wish its fans on every occasion. For Sankranti and Pongal, they told fans to enjoy the harvest festival by gorging on gur (jagery) and flying kites.

Bhandarkar echoed him: Til gul ghya god-god bola! Happy Makar Snakranti.
As the sun changes its position in the celestial path, farmers across the country bring in the mature crops from the fields on this day and also fly kites.
Happy Pongal and Makar Sankranti! Grandly celebrated its the festival of harvesting! Vivek Oberoi posted on his Twitter page.
