Mo’Nique to announce Oscar nominations this year

NEW YORK - Last year’s Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique will announce the nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards later this month along with Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak.
The Academy announced on Tuesday that the pair would announce 10 of the 24 categories for the Awards at a break-of-dawn press conference on January 25, reports the New York Post.
The nominations for the remaining categories will be released online at the same time.
The 83rd Academy Awards will be presented in Hollywood on February 27 in a ceremony hosted by actors James Franco and Anne Hathaway. (ANI)
