I’ve never been drunk in my life, says Paula Abdul

NEW YORK - Paula Abdul, coach on ‘Live to Dance’, has claimed that she has never been drunk in her life.
“I am intelligent. Having a brain, that’s a concept, yes, with Paula Abdul. I have a brain,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying in an interview on CBS.
The 48-year-old singer and choreographer slammed reports that she was under the influence during her occasionally incoherent eight-year stint on the judges’ panel on ‘American Idol.’
“I’ve never had a drinking problem. Even though I’ve been in this business for quite some time, I’ve never physically been drunk in my life. I’ve never been drunk in my life,” she said.
Abdul added that she does not ‘use recreational drugs,’ stating that she just happens to be ‘goofy.’
“The people on ‘Idol’ know that none of that [drug abuse] existed, ever,” she added. (ANI)
