LONDON - Joan Collins is all set to star in a movie that is inspired by the troubled life of Lindsay Lohan.
Dynasty actress Collins, 77, will play a powerful Hollywood agent managing the career of a fictitious troubled movie star.
“I play an aggressive, sexy, powerful woman for a change,” the Sun quoted her as saying.
Producers admit her character’s wayward client is based on the 24-year-old ‘Mean Girls’ star.
Writer Charles Casillo described his heroine as a “bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents and predatory paparazzi - a role obviously based on Lindsay.”
Model Lydia Hearst Shaw, 26, will make her film debut as the actress.
Collins added: “It is a satire on the hysteria surrounding celebrities.” (ANI)
