SILIGURI - A budding hairstylist showcased her talent at a fashion show in West Bengal’s Siliguri District over the weekend.
The ‘Hair Fashion Show’ was divided into different themes according to which the hairstyle and the outfits were designed. Some of the notable themes were ‘Arabian Nights’, ‘Party Night’ and ‘Egyptian Nights’.
Neel David, a hairstylist from Nepal and the organiser of the show, said this show was dedicated to the genre of hairstyling.
“Usually a hairstyle show doesn’t take place. So, I felt that I should try and change Siliguri with my fashion. And thus I organised this Hair fashion show,” he said.
The event saw participation by 28 models from India and neighbouring Bhutan and Nepal.
“It was so good. I felt very happy to take part in this competition. So, it was very good, I like it very much. I enjoyed a lot,” said Soumya Osman, a participant from Nepal.
The fashion show was an attempt to display the creativity in the field of hairstyling, which too can pave a way towards the fashion industry. By Tarak Sarkar (ANI)
