Celine Dion says she couldn’t tell her twin sons apart

TORONTO - Pop diva Celine Dion, who gave birth to twin sons in October, became so confused following their birth that she couldn’t tell her newborns apart.
She had to use difference-coloured hats to help distinguish them, and she lost track when the garments got mixed up, according to celebrity website wenn.com.
“They’re not identical at all. When they were born, they were actually separate, but in their two little homes. But I
couldn’t see the difference. I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, and we don’t even have names. I’m going to say Baby A, Baby B for how long?’ I was like confused, ‘Who’s Baby A?’ This is where we mixed the hats. ‘Oh, my God, Baby A is now Baby B, and B is A’. We were all confused,” the website quoted the pop diva as telling CNN’s Larry King.
And the confusion lasted for more than a week as the couple struggled to choose names for the newborns, according to the report.
“After coming home, Rene (Dion’s husband) says, ‘I know how important choosing names (is). It’s such a responsibility to choose names. We have to have names’. I said, ‘I know, I know’. So after about a week or so, we couldn’t take it anymore, so we sat down. We said, ‘OK, it’s going to be our two heroes here, Nelson and Eddie’. So Rene-Charles, Nelson and Eddie was suiting our family. We’re very proud. And here we are,” said the Canadian megastar.
Rene-Charles is the name of Dion’s 10-year-old son.
The 42-year-old singer gave birth to Nelson and Eddy in Florida in October after a long struggle to conceive with her 68-year-old husband Rene Angelil.
The biggest-selling female artist of all time, Dion is the top earner of the decade with $747.9 million from albums and concerts, according to Ultimate Top 10.
She has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide so far.
