LONDON - Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas has said that his son Michael, who was diagnosed with a tumor in his throat several months ago, is doing well and getting stronger following his treatment.
‘Spartacus’ and ‘Paths Of Glory’ star was in Los Angeles helping to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless when he spoke about Michael.
“Michael is very good. I talked to him yesterday,” Sky News quoted him as saying. He’s much stronger now, he’s eating and he’s feisty. He was talking about doing his next picture which is Liberace,” Douglas said.
The 66-year-old Oscar-winner, who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones, has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.
Sources close to the actor have suggested his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. (ANI)
