LONDON - Singer Sheryl Crow has put up her sprawling mansion for sale in an online auction, and has dubbed it “Home of Sheryl Crow” in a bid to publicise it.
Crow’s smiling face adorns the advertisement for the house, the current bidding price for which is $1.1 million, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The French-style home is named ‘Cross Creek Farm’, and Crow, a mother of two, has lived there for more than six years.
The three-storey, five-bedroom house is nestled on 150 acres and is over 10,000 square feet in area, complete with a 14-stall barn and indoor riding arena. It also has over six bathrooms, a few private nanny quarters and a six-car garage.
For visitors, there is a three-bedroom guest house.
The 48-year-old singer, along with her adopted sons - Wyatt, 3, and seven-month-old Levi - has enjoyed the theatre room, salt water swimming pool and magnificent views of the countryside during her stay in the house.
According to conditions set by the estate agent, the winner will have to pay cash and close the deal no later than Jan 14, 2011.
It was earlier reported in May that the singer had tried to sell the property for $7.5 million, but she didn’t get any takers.
The “Santa Monica Boulevard” singer used to be King of Pop late Michael Jackson’s back-up singer on his “Bad” tour in the 1980s. She has come a long way since, and has won nine Grammy awards.
