I’m doing nothing: Anusha Rizvi (Movie Snippets)
By IANSSaturday, September 18, 2010
NEW DELHI - Still basking in the astounding success of her debut venture “Peepli Live”, journalist-turned-director Anusha Rizvi is, as of now, busy doing “nothing”.
“I am doing nothing. I am just hanging around. I just got out of this thing (’Peepli Live’) and I’m setting my house and getting into a relaxed mode (for sometime) and doing nothing,” Rizvi told IANS.
“Getting into a whole creative process takes time, so it’ll happen,” she added.
Produced by superstar Aamir Khan, “Peepli Live”, a political satire about farmer suicides in India scorched the screens and also won kudos across the world festival circuit.

Rajshree Ojha moves to fun movie, romcom
Having wielded the megaphone for Sonam Kapoor-Abhay Deol starrer glossy hit “Aisha”, one-film old Rajshree Ojha is now working on two new projects.
“I am scripting two projects as of now — one is a fun film and the other is a romantic comedy. These are in the scripting stage right now and I’ll complete (writing) the romcom by mid-September and the fun film by September end,” Ojha told IANS.
Asked if she had anyone in mind for her ventures, she said: “I have to find a producer first, rest all comes later.”

Nandita Das on break for motherhood
Dusky beauty Nandita Das is on a different high — motherhood — and is taking a “break” for her first born Vihaan with industrialist husband Subodh Maskara till she calls the shots for her next directorial venture.
“I am taking a break as of now. I am totally focusing on Vihaan and enjoying motherhood as they say. It’s beautiful,” Nandita told IANS.
“I’ll be operating from home though. I am the chairperson of CFSI (Children’s Film Society of India), so I can’t really ignore my duties,” she added.
Having wielded the megaphone for critically-acclaimed political thriller “Firaaq”, the actress-turned-director’s next project is on human trafficking.
“It is an agreement that I have signed. We are still in the scripting stage. It is a huge project on human trafficking. It is another story that needs to be told. We have been in talks since last November. But pre-production will start only in March next year,” she said.
