Kylie Minogue had ‘heavenly’ childhood

LONDON - Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue feels grateful for her “heavenly” childhood because after signing up as an ambassador for a kids’ charity she realised the hell some youngsters experience in their youth.
The “Spinning Around” hitmaker is a long-term spokeswoman for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) here and her work with the charity has made her aware of how blissful her formative years were in Melbourne, Australia, reports contactmusic.com.
“I have been one of their ambassadors - a very proud one - since 2003. The work they do is incredible. In comparison to some of the stories they deal with, I feel like I fell from heaven with the childhood I had,” she said.
“I will give any help that I can to raise awareness - especially for the NSPCC helpline - that is just so important for people to know about,” she added.
