Sarah Harding in talks for cheerleader’s role

LONDON - Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is reportedly in talks to star in a football movie.

The pop star is in talks to play a cheerleader in the Britain-based movie about a man who introduces the US sport to a northern English town.

The singer is said to have impressed the movie bosses after she was invited to the screen test by her cousin, reports contactmusic.com

“Sarah’s cousin is a co-producer on the film, so they decided to audition her and she went down a storm. Sarah wants to do it…,” said a source.

Harding is no newcomer to acting - she starred in the “St. Trinian” movie sequel last year and has acted alongside Dominic Cooper in BBC drama “Freefall”.
