Robbie Williams proposed to Ayda Field using pack of cards

LONDON - British singer Robbie Williams proposed to Ayda Field with a pack of cards.

The 36-year-old singer took the four Queens from the deck and handed them to Ayda, reports the Sun.

The first card had ‘Will’ written on it in black marker penand thenext three carried the words: ‘You’, ‘Marry’, and ‘Me?’

“Then he dropped on to one knee. I said ‘Yes’,” 31-year-old Ayda said.

Robbie said: “When we first started going out, this weird thing would happen. When I had a deck of cards - I would split the pack and always come up with a Queen of Hearts.”

“Because I’m into mysticism, it filled my heart and made me stop worrying about whether I was with the right person,” he added.

The revelation came as the couple disclosed intimate details of their top-secret wedding.

“It made me so emotional that I’m surprised I held it together,” Robbie said.

“Rob is going to be the best husband in the world. He’s my best friend, my soul mate,” Ayda said. (ANI)
