Eva Mendes says she’d love to star in ‘Anchorman’ sequel

LONDON - Eva Mendes has extended support in the bid for a sequel of ‘Anchorman’, saying she would love to star if it gets made.

US Studio Paramount has not gathered much enough cash to get the ball rolling on a sequel.

However, Eva - who stars opposite Will Farrell in new movie ‘The Other Guys’ - has said that she would love to star alonside legendary newsman Ron Burgandy.

“Anchorman is my favourite movie ever,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I think it’s mad they are not making a sequel. I’d love to be in it. Ron is my hero!” she added. (ANI)
