Maury Chaykin Dies On His 61st Birthday

TORONTO, CANADA (GaeaTimes.com)- Maury Chaykin, the renowned award winning actor passed away yesterday at a Toronto Hospital. The actor who appeared in more than 120 movies and TV shows since he began his career in the 1970’s left his friends and family mourning for his death at his 61st birthday. The news of his death was confirmed by his manager Paul Hemrend, who reported to a reputed media source that the actor died early morning surrounded by his friends and family.
The cause Maury Chaykin’s death is still not known to the media, however, producer Mark McKinney who was closely associated with the actor said in an interview that the actor died after fighting for his life against kidney problems. Ferne Downey, the president of the actors union ACTRA, expressed his condolence for the star in one of his interviews where she said that Maury Chaykin was an infinitely gifted actor who has left an “incomparable” body of work to the Canadian film industry that would be cherished for many generations to come. The lady also added that the Canadian film industry will miss his passion, love and commitment as well.
Maury Chaykin is well known for proving his acting skills in “Whale Music”, “Canada’s Sweetheart”, “The King of Kensington”, “The Sweet Hereafter”, “Blindness”, “Entourage” and the list seems to be never ending. The sudden demise of the actor is surely a loss to the film and television industry. The star is survived by his wife, actress Susannah Hoffman and their daughter, Rose. The Gemini award winning actor was well known for his prolific acting prowess and won millions of hearts through his brilliant performances.
