Criticism can be toxic: Jessica Biel

LONDON - Hollywood actress Jessica Biel says criticism can be “toxic” and she tries to stay away from negativity.
“If you let in, what people say about you and how people think about you, it’s just toxic. It’s just horrible to try to please a bunch of people that you’ve never met before, who want to just make assumptions about your life and your career,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
Jessica not only finds it hard to accept criticism, she also finds it difficult to accept compliments.
“I think you just kind of go with it more than anything else, because it’s incredibly flattering to have that said about you. But come on, let’s get serious, there are a lot of people around the world that we don’t know about who are probably incredibly beautiful, so it just feels like, ‘OK, cool. Thanks, I appreciate it,” she added.
