Mel Gibson’s former co-star slams ‘despicable’ Oksana Grigorieva

LONDON - Mel Gibson’s former co-star John Jarratt has slammed the ‘Braveheart’ star’s ex Oksana Grigorieva for damaging the reputation of the actor.
The Wolf Creek star branded Grigorieva a ‘despicable person’ who made a ‘mockery’ of Gibson by taping his alleged phone rants.
Gibson has been hit with a series of scandals this month after several separate tape recordings were released online, in which the actor can allegedly be heard making various threats towards Grigorieva.
Jarrett, who has been pals with Gibson since they starred in Summer City in 1977, insists the alleged rants were taken out of context and were part of a private argument that should never have been made public.
“I’ve had a few blues (arguments) with my partner and they’re not very nice, the ‘C’ word has been used on both sides. But no one has put that up on the Internet, thankfully,” the Daily Star quoted Jarrett as telling Sydney’s Daily Telegraph.
“On the two occasions (Gibson) has been outed, one he was drunk and talking (confidentially) to a police officer and the other was a tape that was released. It’s not like he has come out in public and said all these nasty things. He was drunk… like none of us have been?
Jarrett added: “The despicable person in this is the woman, who has disgustingly taped this guy because he’s extremely famous and tried to ruin his life. She has taped an argument they are having in an acrimonious split - something that happened behind closed doors - and he’s been made a mockery of. It’s disgusting.” (ANI)
