Sheryl Crow enjoying motherhood

LONDON - Singer Sheryl Crow says she is glad she split from cyclist Lance Armstrong and endured a battle with breast cancer because it inspired her to adopt her sons.
Sheryl, who is best friends with “Friends” actresses Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, separated from the sportsman in 2006 after three years. She then adopted her three-year-old son, Wyatt, in 2007, reports express.co.uk.
The 48-year-old says of splitting from Lance, who has three children: “I’d just been through a pretty painful break-up where there were kids involved and I’d also been through breast cancer treatment.”
“After that I felt an acute sense of urgency about how I wanted my life to feel. Since I wasn’t married my idea of what the picture was supposed to look like no longer served any great purpose,” she added.
So the Grammy winner Crow decided to go for adaptation and is happy with her decision.
After Wyatt, she adopted another son two-month-old Levi James, last month.
But despite being a mum to two young boys she isn’t seeking a man to help bring up her family.
“I’m not looking. If I meet somebody I adore and who adores me and wants to help me raise my kids, great.”
