LONDON - “Harry Potter and Deathly Hallow”, the final installment of the hit movie franchise, is said to be the darkest of them all.
The new scenes released by Warner Bros show the children’s fantasy tale taking a sinister turn. Experts say the film has got darker and more gothic as time has gone by and as the child stars have turned into adults, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The final instalment will be releaed in two parts - “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows” Part 1 will hit British screens in November and Part 2 in July next year.
It hasn’t got a certificate and there are rumors that the censor will have a tough task deciding what rating to give. Some fans fear that it could remove the family friendly feel from the movie instilled in previous movies.
The new film centers around Harry, Ron and Hermione’s attempts to find and destroy the Horcruxses, the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction. The action also sees Voldemort’s Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and then hunt for Harry Potter.
The cast of the film also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Richard Griffiths, John Hurt, Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman, Imelda Staunton and Julie Walters.

Uhh….Duh it’s the darkest! Anyone who read the books would have known that. I hate how everyone assumes it’s a “child’s” book. It’s probably too scary for children in actuality. All the books so far have been darker than the movies anyway. I would actually consider it a book for teens, since adults are too uninterested in it’s great plot, and children probably only like it for the magic and don’t really understand it in its entirety. (BTW, I’m obsessed with the series!) |
