Julia’s ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ inspires furnishings, jewellery

LONDON - Hollywood actress Julia Roberts’ much-talked about movie “Eat, Pray, Love” will come with a treasure trove of tie-in items from furnishings to jewellery when it is released in August.
Directed by Ryan Murphy, the movie is based on Pushcart prize-winning author Elizabeth Gilbert’s spirituality travel memoirs and features Roberts as Gilbert who travels to Italy, India and Indonesia in search of peace. Producers of the film have given various companies rights to link new products to the film, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
American chain Cost Plus will offer exclusive furnishings, replicas of those featured in the film, Dogeared jewellers are offering “Eat, Pray, Love” bracelets and necklaces inspired by the film and there will even be a eau de parfum from Fresh, T-shirts from Signorelli, and “Eat, Pray, Love” tea.
Furthermore, bosses at Sta Tours will soon be offering the Eat, Pray, Love Experience - the chance to dine in Italy, meditate in India and fall in love with Bali.
