Tom Cruise takes dance lessons from wife’s choreographer

LOS ANGELES - Actor Tom Cruise, who enthralled the audience with a hilarious performance at the MTV Awards, revealed that he had been taking dance lessons from his wife’s choreographer.

“I worked with Katie’s choreographer, Tyce Diorio. Katie loved it. She was there while we were working on it. You know, I can dance a bit and we rehearsed… my wife is a dancer and so I like dancing,” said Cruise after his performance Sunday.

The 47-year-old actor teamed up with singer Jennifer Lopez to perform a comic routine at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards in the guise of his “Tropic Thunder” character Les Grossman.
