Sutherland Embarrassed To Meet Real-life Terrorism Expert

KIEFER SUTHERLAND was left red-faced when he met a real-life terrorism expert on a recent skiing trip - and had to call his mum to explain to her why his hit drama 24 makes her son’s job look so easy.
The actor was trying to go unrecognised during a recent break, but had to share a ski lift with an operative just back from Afghanistan.
He recalls, “This guy leans over and said, ‘I really like your show’… He went on to tell me that he was a C.I.A. operative… and I said, ‘I hope the show doesn’t offend you’.
“When we got to the top of the mountain, he wanted me to call his mom and explain to her why he can’t get things done in 24 hours.”
